Missing in Action - Fall Foliage!

This article exactly states what I witnessed a week ago during my four day hike in the Laurel Highlands!  Amazing!  Maybe next year?

    This is the most colorless fall I've ever seen.
    The leaves seem to just turn a brownish red and then fall off.
    Still green about too.

    It was really disappointing to come all that way and see such little color, but we still had a good hike and a fun experience.
